Merisuola III Fly Rod

Over the years, the Merisuola series has earned a reputation among saltwater fly anglers around the world, becoming one of the most recognized rod ranges in modern saltwater fly fishing. Merisuola III represents the third generation of this iconic series and our most advanced saltwater rod to date.

The Merisuola range tells a lot about Vision as a brand: bold and innovative when it comes to designing tackle for demanding saltwater environments. Merisuola III rods are equally at home at tropical saltwater destinations and in coastal waters up in the North. These rods are built to handle everything from warm-water tropical species like (e.g.) GT, Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish to coastal species like sea trout.

For the third generation, we have updated the blank with our latest graphite and graphene composite technology, delivering faster recovery, increased responsiveness, and exceptional durability without compromising feel. Proven REC Cerecoil stripping guides and REC titanium double-foot snake guides offer outstanding corrosion resistance and reliable performance in the harshest saltwater conditions.

The premium-grade Portuguese cork handle ensures comfort and longevity through years of hard use. All four-piece models are supplied in a protective rod cloth bag and packed in a triangular Cordura tube for safe storage and travel.
