Viljami lives on the southwest coast of Finland and is a dedicated fly fisherman for sea trout, pike, perch, and numerous coarse fish. He is one of the most talented belly boat anglers around and also makes tough wilderness trips to the northern parts of Scandinavia searching for trophy trout and arctic char. 

Viljami has been shooting photographs for numerous fly fishing magazines and the Vision Fly Fishing catalog for years and is also a frequent writer of fly fishing-related articles. 

What are your biggest passions in fly fishing? " My biggest passions are pike, sea trout, and arctic char fly fishing. I also very much enjoy fly fishing for nontraditional species like carp and other coarse fish species. "

Vision gear that you can't live without? " Merisuola Predator and XO rods. I also love the XO and Hybrid lines. "

What are your top 3 flies?  "Black hollow deceiver, pink  shrimp fly, and a tan gammarus fly."

What is your wildest fishing memory? " Catching a 83 cm sea trout is one. It was also pretty wild catching a 1.6 kg crucian carp on fly. "
