The madman from Huittinen, Finland! Petteri started fly fishing at the age of 15 and hasn't looked back since. Even though he spends most of his time on the Baltic looking for big pike, his true passion is big early-season salmon. As an ex-professional athlete, he is trying to make up for lost time and searching for that 130cm Baltic salmon.

Petteri makes spectacular salmon fishing content alongside his friend and fellow Vision Pro Jari Oksanen on their popular Kalatarinoitasuomi channel.

Petteri is also the unofficial world champion of not giving salmon an inch of line when he is fighting them... 

What are your biggest passions in fly fishing? " My biggest passion by far is fishing for big, early-season salmon. "

Vision gear that you can't live without? " Nalle overall. I use it all year round. It is simply perfect."

What are your top 3 flies?  "Phatakorva, Phatakorva, Phatakorva"

What is your wildest fishing memory? "Standing on a cliff with one hand grabbing a tree so I don't fall into the river and the other hand holding the rod when I was fighting a huge salmon."
