Paolo is a fly fishing legend from Italy. He has traveled the world fly fishing for 41 years. Paolo fly-fishes for pretty much everything but is constantly looking for the biggest specimens possible. 

Paolo has been featured on numerous TV and YouTube productions, has written books and articles, and also has 17 IGFA world records under his belt. He is also the OG wiggle/dragon tail man and sells his products all over the world to help other people catch big fish!

What are your biggest passions in fly fishing? " I am very passionate about fishing for predators with streamers. Pike is number one, but I also love carp and trout.  "

Vision gear that you can't live without? " Merisuola Predator and Merisuola Graphene rods. I also love the old XO rods.  "

What are your top 3 flies?  "Pike flies with dragon tails, crawfish carp flies, and a generic baitfish pattern"

What is your wildest fishing memory? "Very difficult to choose from a lifetime of memories. The wildest probably was when we were fly fishing for barramundi in  the Northern Territory in Australia. SW crocs, snakes, etc., etc... It was wild!
