Otto comes from Helsinki, Finland, and has been fly fishing for almost 20 years.  He likes to fly-fish for brown trout and arctic char in Lapland and pike fly-fishing here in the south. 

Otto makes a living as a content creator and YouTuber. He documents all the fishing trips he makes for his extremely popular Kalastajanmaailma channel. 

What are your biggest passions in fly fishing? " Chasing brown trout and arctic char up north is something I love to do. Over the past few years I have also really gotten into pike fly fishing, and it is by far my favorite thing to do in autumn. There's nothing like a big pike grabbing your fly! "

Vision gear that you can't live without? " I'm not much of a gear guy, but I love my Solina2 and Pike sets. The new Predator set is superb too."

What are your top 3 flies?  "Black leech, Elk hair caddis, and a big, black pike fly with some silver flash."

What is your wildest fishing memory? "I got so many great memories I could write a book about them, but if I have to choose one, I would have to say the first rainbow trout I caught when I was young and fishing with my father and brother. It was dark, I was young with no experience, and the fish felt amazing. It is something I will remember forever.  "
