Oskar lives in Umeå, Sweden, where he studies and fishes the nearby rivers, big or small, for brown trout. 

What are your biggest passions in fly fishing? "My biggest passion is targeting brown trout, especially migratory trout. There’s something special about those fish that really drives me. I fish both with single-hand and double-hand rods depending on the water and conditions. I especially enjoy fishing for bigger trout with streamers."

Vision gear that you can't live without? "The XO series of rods is my favorite. I am especially fond of the XO double-hander 12'8" #7 for migratory trout. "

What are your top 3 flies?  "Blue/Black Sunray Shadow x 3. It is simply the best fly on the planet."

What is your wildest fishing memory? "One of my most memorable moments was catching a +70 cm migratory trout in my home waters. I had just come back after fishing for about a week and a half in northern Sweden without even touching a fish. Then, on my very first session back home, everything just came together, and I landed that fish. It was a huge relief and a moment I’ll never forget. "
