Marc lives in the small, beautiful town of Taupo, New Zealand. He is lucky to call rivers like the Tongariro, Tauranga-Taupo, and Waitahanui his home rivers. Because of this, Marc has year-round access to one of the best trout fishing spots in the world.

What are your biggest passions in fly fishing? " I love to fish backcountry waters that are seldom visited by man. I'm also a sucker for dry fly fishing. Watching brown and rainbow trout rise to a fly never gets old! "

Vision gear that you can't live without? "If I had to choose just a few items, the first one would be my Musta boots. The other one would be the Mycket Bra chest bag. "

What are your top 3 flies?  "Woomfah cicada pattern, Royal Wolff, and a Hare&Copper"

What is your wildest fishing memory? "One of my wildest fishing memories would have to be hiking miles into a backcountry river that I had been looking at on maps for years. The river had absolutely no info on it; I didn’t even know if it had trout in it. It was a total gamble. In the first pool I approached, I quickly located 3 fish holding in various sections of the pool. The first fish to the net was  9.4 lb.;  the second and third fish both tipped the scales at 8.2 lb. A memory I will cherish for a very long time."
