Esko runs the marketing department of the Vision Group. Everything marketing-related goes through Esko. He started working at Vision in 2021. Esko has a background in content/brand and influencer marketing and has been a lifelong fly fisherman, so when the opportunity came to put these two things together, he did not hesitate.

Esko runs an extremely popular fly fishing podcast called Unelmia Onkimassa together with his lifelong friend and fishing buddy Juhana Kiiski. This show has become legendary within the Finnish fly fishing community.

What is your thing in fly fishing, or do you fly fish at all? "I'm a true all-rounder when it comes to fly fishing. Brown trout, sea trout, and pike fly fishing are the things I do the most. I also used to fish for salmon a lot."

What are your top 3 flies?  "Kopperbassen, CDC shuttlecocks, and Hollow Deceivers."

All-time favorite Vision products?  "My old GT Four 9' #7 is a rod that will always be dear to me. I used it for everything back in the day when I was a poor student. From the new range, I absolutely love the 9'3 #6 XO III. It is my one true love for streamer fishing or salmon fishing with a single-handed rod. "
